Of all the design programs out there, Canva is easily one of our favorites. It’s quick, intuitive, and designed with the average user in mind. If you’ve been looking for easy ways to incorporate graphics into your digital or print presence, this is the class for you! During this 1.5-hour introductory online class, instructor James Clattenburg will demonstrate the many uses of Canva, including incorporating logos, photos, texts, or graphics into a design, using the animate function for online graphics that pop, and harnessing the power of templates to boost productivity. When class wraps up, participants will be prepared to start making a variety of promotional pieces, including one design that will be open to class critique during “Getting Creative with Canva: Part II”.
Class Prerequisites:
Participants are required to set up a FREE Canva account at canva.com prior to the start of class. In addition, participants are encouraged to keep an ongoing folder of digital assets on their desktop (including photos and logos) that will be used during the design process.
