This Week at WREN
Hi Friends,

This week, we’re planning ahead.

Between bicycling adventures, artist talks (plus cookies!), a vintage market only a month away, and a lovely new grant, the next few weeks are moving along at a breathtaking, invigorating pace.

Read on for more info below…

Are you captivated by “COLOR!”? We sure are!

Right now, the Gallery at WREN and the Adair Inn are packed with painted canvases and panels from Ann Saunderson and Pam Tarbell. As we open up the store each day, we always take a quiet moment to linger over the exhibit, gleaning new insights about each piece.

We want you to have the same opportunity, so we’ve come up something special: “Cookies & Tea (and a Talk at 3!)”.

Join us Saturday, 6/5 @ 3pm in the Gallery at WREN to meet with exhibiting artists Ann Saunderson and Pam Tarbell, and learn more about what inspired “COLOR!”.

Ann and Pam will be in the Gallery from 1 – 4pm, but the big event is at 3, so mark your calendars and set your clocks, all. We will see you soon!

Light refreshments, including ice tea, lemonade, and cookies, will available during the artist talk.

Hurray!

WREN just became the proud recipient of a $250 grant thanks to Coltrane Stagg c/o The Tillotson Fund.

The ongoing support of the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF) is invaluable to our organization, and inspires us so much as we plan for all kinds of initiatives just ahead of us.

Inspired by the generosity of NHCF? Consider donating to WREN!

NH Gives, an annual event that supports nonprofits throughout the state, runs June 8 – 9, 2021. We will be sending out special emails related to NH Gives in the days to come, including information on a very exciting grant matching opportunity.

Whether you show your support today, wait for the NH Gives event, or simply take the time to share these emails with your friends and family, we thank you!

Our nonprofit is made all the stronger because of community members like you.

The adventure starts at 9am at the Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge parking lot located just off Airport Road in Jefferson, NH, and will cover a portion of the Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail. Current COVID-19 recommendations will be followed.

Yup, Vintage Market in the Mountains is returning for its third year at the Wayside Inn!

This year’s vintage summer market is filling up with a roster of amazing vendors, fantastic food trucks, jiving live music, and one special pop-up spot for WREN.

While vintage is the main attraction of this special event, under our tent, you also have the chance to meet some of our artist members and learn more about their one-of-a-kind wares.

Vintage Market in the Mountains runs Saturday, July 24th through Sunday, July 25th, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it!

WREN vendors, would you like a free spot under our tent?

Let us know! Our plans are still shaping up right now, but we would love to gauge your interest.
Please email caitlinf@wrenworks.org.
