A visual journey through all four seasons, Two in the Wild highlights the practice of plein air painting. The show primarily features small- to medium-sized oil paintings created outdoors, capturing moments directly from observation.
Select works by each artist expand on these studies, evolving into larger studio paintings. The small plein air pieces will be displayed alongside their larger counterparts, offering insight into the artistic process and revealing how an idea develops beyond a single painting.
In addition to the artwork, the exhibition will include images of the artists themselves, providing a more personal connection to the work and its makers.
