Saturday, August 13, 10 AM-5 PM, celebrate the artist and makers of the North Country at WREN Community Day!
Stop by WREN’s Pocket Park in downtown Bethlehem, NH for a day full of pop-up vendors, demonstrations, performances, food and fun. Shop handmade art and fine craft from local artists and artisans, watch Bethlehem artist Rebecca Fullerton work on her latest landscape painting, listen to music and chat with the DJs at North Country Community Radio, and learn about the techniques behind hand-carved birds and other animals from one of WREN’s newest members, Wes Ripple! There will be activities for kids, and lots of fun things to see and do for all ages throughout the day.
“We are so excited to host this super fun day here at WREN,” said WREN executive director Pam Sullivan. “WREN wouldn’t exist without community support. We are so lucky to be among so many talented people from the North Country every day, and we love to share that with everyone who stops at WREN. There are so many reasons to love Bethlehem – come on over and find out!”
PLUS, we’ve got a sweet giveaway!
WREN is celebrating the ongoing revitalization of Bethlehem’s Main Street by giving away one free Super Secret Ice Cream token with every ceramic bowl sold! Each token is good for one free scoop, or $5 off any purchase, at Super Secret Ice Cream!
“If you’re looking for a great way to spend a Saturday and support some local talent, Bethlehem is the place to be this August 13,” said Sullivan. “Start your day at the new Bethlehem Community Market by the gazebo, then head down to WREN for our Community Day! Buy a bowl by one of our local potters, then mosey down Main Street, stopping at Reklis, Maia Papaya, and Lonesome Woods, and finish up with a free scoop at Super Secret Ice Cream.
